How to Fix Broken Makeup (3 Steps)
When it comes to your makeup, nothing is more annoying than breaking your powder. Luckily, it’s a super easy fix! Just follow these steps…
- Get out the alcohol
Not the kind you drink (although, it might make the situation a little easier to deal with…)! I’m talking about rubbing alcohol. Pour a small amount over your powder and allow it to set. Don’t worry -- the smell will go away!
Once your powder absorbs the alcohol, it will become a paste that you can remold with a spoon (or even your finger). Re-shape and smooth it as best as you can.
- Allow it to dry
This is better if done overnight, but if you have no time to spare, whip out your blowdryer and take to drying it by hand. When the powder is almost completely dry, smooth out the top with a sponge or makeup brush. That’s it!
