We all think we know how to wash our hair, but chances are, you’re doing a couple of things wrong. Check yourself by reading our tips below.

  1. Brush your hair before washing.

We lose a lot of hair when we step in the shower, so pre-brushing is a great way to prevent clogging. Even better is that it will reduce tangles when you wash. Your hair is weakest when it is wet, so the less you brush it during this time, the better. Less tangles means less of a need for brushing, so there will be less of a chance for damage when you style your hair!

  1. Massage your scalp.

If you’re trying to grow out your hair, massaging your scalp on a regular basis will be a great help as it stimulates growth and strengthens your roots. Plus, it feels amazing!

  1. Concentrate on the ends.
