1. Double Cleansing

This is a technique that dates back more than one hundred years and is recommended by top dermatologists across the country.

Begin by washing your face with an oil-based cleanser to eliminate pollutants and makeup. Once the buildup of these substances has been wiped from your skin, it will be easier to get to your pores and eliminate any dead skin cells, bacteria, or other materials that are lodged there. Since your face is cleaner, other products you apply to your skin will work more effectively as well.

Follow up with a regular cleanser and moisturize. That’s it!

2. Common Mistakes

While the routine is easy, you should still pay attention to your skin to avoid damage. For example, if your skin becomes red or tight after it dries, your cleanser may be too harsh. Try a gentle formula like Bioelements’ Flash Foam Cleanser.
